PM Sends Condolences Over Death of Prince Norodom Ranariddh

BREAKING NEWS: Prime Minister Hun Sen and his family have expressed their condolences over the death of Prince Norodom Ranariddh. The King's half brother died on Sunday in France at the age of 77.

The Prime Minister and his wife Bun Rany Hun Sen are sending condolences to Princess Norodom Marie Ranariddh, the wife of Prince Ranarridh and to their sons and daughters.

Prime Minister Hun Sen says, "At the moment, my wife and I are deeply saddened to learn that Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, President of FUNCINPEC and Chairman of the King's Supreme Advisory Council, died on Sunday, 2021 at the age of 77 years old due to illness."

 He has added, "On this sad occasion, my wife and I would like to share our condolences with the Princess, the Princess, the Son, the Daughter, and the Royal Family. Prince Norodom Ranariddh is the loss of a great royal figure in the royal family, who is patriotic, religious, and has the will of a king."

The late Prince Norodom Ranarridh was a former Prime Minister of Cambodia. His royalist political party won elections in 1993, was ousted in a 1997 coup by his coalition partner and rival - now Prime Minister Hun Sen.
